Village Green Realty was founded in 1991 by Ulster County native Joan Lonergan. As a young real estate agent Joan saw other agents turning away business because they were waiting on a “big fish.” She glimpsed an opening in the market for someone willing to work with everyone, whether they owned luxury property or a small parcel of land. Joan opened an office on Woodstock’s famous Village Green. In the past three decades, we’ve grown to 7 offices, 120 agents, and a huge staff of managers, administrators, and marketers. As a team, we serve clients in eight Upstate counties. Now, Broker Candida Ellis leads a fresh troupe of agents using Joan’s four guiding principles:
