Bread Alone is a family-owned, values-driven bakery. We’ve been baking with organic grains since our first loaf in 1983.
Our mission is to serve honest food to our customers, create prosperity for our people and minimize further harm to our planet. Aspiring to set an example, we try to reach more people with our actions than we can feed with our foods.
We have more than two hundred employees among our four Hudson Valley cafés: Our original Boiceville location opened in 1983; Woodstock opened in 1993; Rhinebeck opened in 2000; and Kingston (also the company’s headquarters and commercial baking operation) opened in 2015.
We accept the challenge of delivering fresh, organic breads to corner stores and supermarkets around the Northeast at an affordable price. Today, fans can find Bread Alone products at forty-five regional farmers’ markets and in many grocery stores and retailers across the Hudson Valley, New York City, Connecticut, Long Island and New Jersey.
