Gimme Shelter Fundraiser at The Red Onion

Show your love for our furry friends and the Saugerties Animal Shelter at the Red Onion Restaurant on Wednesday, September 29. The shelter and its fantastic group of volunteers are fundraising for a new facility, and you can help.

Not only does the Saugerties Animal Shelter reunite lost pets with their families; it also does so much for animals in need–from rescue to adoption: fostering, housing, and feeding cats and dogs, and connecting the community to the opportunity of pet ownership.

 

Meet Biscotti, one of two mascots of Inside+Out. She hails from the Saugerties Animal Shelter, and we are forever grateful. She loves her home and her buddy and fellow mascot, Miso. We absolutely adore her.

As a regional shelter that significantly impacts our community, the new facility will offer a healthier, more effective way of fulfilling its services. Updated amenities include a lobby, cat condos, a two-story cat tree, a kitten room, grooming and quarantine areas, larger dog kennels, a covered dog run, a large exterior run, and an engraved brick patio.

To date, $1,200,000 has been raised towards their $1,800,000 goal.
