Welcome to our new feature showcasing First Fridays Catskill in the vibrant Hudson Valley village of Catskill NY. Hop in the car and head over to Catskill NY for some small town fun in celebration of community with friends, old and new. Just #followtheflags for participating businesses.

FIRST FRIDAYS CATSKILL | PRIDE EDITION 🌈🌈

In addition to the regular First Friday “buzz and activities,” there’s a lot of fun PRIDE EVENTS going on this coming weekend, check out the details below!

FIRST FRIDAYS! JUNE 2ND | 5 PM – 10+ PM

Follow the Flags along Main + Bridge Streets for a fun-filled celebration with nibbles ‘n sips, pop-ups, live music, discounts and fun! Shops are open from 5 – 8 PM. When you’re done shopping and socializing be sure to stop by The Avalon Lounge at 8 PM for a movie screening of Paris is Burning and at 10 PM grab your friends and hit the dance floor for Avalon’s Diva Dance Party.

SATURDAY JUNE 3RD | 3 – 9 PM
Stop by Citiot and join in on the fun with their Crisis Sing Along Broadway Tunes from 3 – 5 PM, followed by a Main Street Mixer at High Rock from 6-9 PM.

SUNDAY JUNE 4TH | 12: 30  – 6 PM
Don’t miss the drag brunch at Willa’s from 12:30 – 2:30 PM, and Foreland’s Pride Lawn Party + Pizza by Half Moon from 11 AM – 6 PM

Foreland: Wood-fired pizza and frozen drinks by The Half Moon, music, lawn games, a bounce house for the kids, and more! Along with pride celebrations, stop by for the opening reception of Chris Bogia’s Candle and the launch of Foreland’s Glass Bridge Series with an inaugural site-specific installation by the Oklahoma-based fiber and textile artist Rachel B. Hayes! In our galleries, exhibitions by Maddy Talias and Bennett Wood, respectively.

Citiot | 404 Main Street Catskill NY | @NYCITIOT

Citiot offers an array of beautifully curated local and European goods, vintage finds and artwork. There is also a gorgeous co-work space and a cafe filled with awesome sweets, coffee and tea. This Friday is the opening of the group show POTTERY, PRIDE & POLAROIDS by Kevin O’Neill, Nathan Gwirtz and Ryan Tracy – Grand Opening 5 – 8 PM. And there is also a NICE HEMP POP-UP from 4:20 – 7 PM where you can sample and purchase their goodies

 

Catskill Bicycle Supply Co. | 347 Main Street Catskill NY | @CATSKILLBICYCLESUPPLYCO

Proudly serving all types of cyclists, including new and veteran riders, road and mountain aficionados, and recreation and transportation cyclists, Catskill Bicycle Supply is open from noon – 8pm. This Friday, they will be leading a Slow Roll bike ride from our shop starting at 6 PM–super casual, family-friendly, 2-3 mile loop around Catskill. Lights, boomboxes, other bicycle related paraphernalia and wheelies encouraged. Drinks and deals at the shop afterwards.

Avalon Lounge | 29 Church Street Catskill NY | @THEAVALONLOUNGE

The Avalon Lounge is a live music venue and dance club with a Korean kitchen and Soju, Sake, Beer, Wine and Cider bar. There are three interconnected spaces – a bar room, an upstairs lounge (with additional seating and pool table), and a performance room/dance floor.
